I am loving my Target Green Bag. Got this as one of the pasalubongs from my sister and dad during their US trip last March. Loved the concept so much that I even shared it with my boss, who then presented it to the top management in one of their weekly update meetings. I wonder if they're coming up with their version of this? Its been months and still no news abouth it.

3 cups flour, sifted
1 1/2 cup salt
6 teaspoons cream of tartar
3 1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons oil
food coloring (she uses the gel)
Whisk all the dry ingredients together in a large pot until no lumps remain. Whisk in the wet ingredients (except for the food coloring) and stir until no lumps remain. Cook on high for 3-4 minutes until a dough forms. Separate into several portions and add food coloring, kneading until uniform in color. Store in airtight containers.

i THINK THIS IS MORE APPLICABLE THAN THE FIRST DESTRESSING POST....Reposting from NATURALBLOOM.COM Most of us suffer from stress at work. Whether it's an ongoing problem, or an occasional crisis, these quick stress relief techniques can help you to regain a sense of inner peace in the middle of a hectic day. Leave the workplace for a few minutes. Removing yourself from your environment for even a few minutes is one of the most powerful things you can do. Make sure you pick a place where you won't be interrupted by colleagues. If it's the thing that you're currently working on that's stressing you out, try switching to another task for a while. Even if it's an urgent task, doing something else will give you breathing space and you can come back to it later feeling fresher. Play some music that moves you. Stop what you're doing for a few minutes and really listen to the music. When you continue work, you'll feel refreshed. Schedule some time each day to deal with unexpected things that need to be dealt with. If you've already allocated time to deal with these things you'll usually find them easier to handle. Take a moment to breath slowly and deeply. Fill your lungs then exhale completely. Just a few deep breaths will make you feel much calmer. Lightly massage your forehead and temples. Use your fingertips to make small circles all over the area, paying particular attention to the area just above your eyebrows. Vary the pressure according to what feels good for each area. Try a few simple stretches. Find yourself a quiet spot (the toilets will do if there's no where else suitable) and spend a few moments stretching out your arms and legs. Relax and shake out your arms and legs when you're finished. Plan something rewarding for the end of the day. Knowing that you've got something to look forward to can make a big difference

Home should be a place where we can rest and be calm. These quick stress relief techniques can help you to achieve a sense of inner peace at home. Try to avoid spending the evening slumped in front of the TV. Maybe you could revive an old hobby, or take up a new one. Relax! Sit or lie down, close your eyes, and concentrate on your breathing. Stay like this for 5-10 minutes. Set aside a regular time to relax in your own favourite way. Home is a place for rest and rejuvenation and you should give yourself time for it. Have a laugh. Whether it's watching a funny movie, or laughing with your family and friends, laughter is a great stress reliever. Cut yourself some slack! Don't beat yourself up thinking you need a showcase home, and if you burn the dinner, get takeaway! Make sure you get enough sleep. Try going to bed half an hour earlier and see whether it makes a difference to how you handle your life. Treat yourself to a long soak in the tub. Envelop the senses with soothing smells, gentle candle light, relaxing music, and lots of bubbles. Give yourself a massage! Massage your scalp and face with your fingertips. Use small circling motions and a light pressure. Of course, if you can persuade someone else to do it for you, that's even better!

Got this from here: Here´s 7 Quick Tips to Relieve Stress Right Now Published by Henrik Edberg August 9th, 2007 in Health, Relaxation and Personal Development. 1. Go for a walk and an ice-cream. Slowly. The exercise and fresh air is great to clear your mind and I find eating ice-cream to be a pretty relaxing thing. If you are stressed out then you’ll probably move fast and do things quickly. But it works the other way around too. So focus on walking slowly, enjoying your surroundings and eat that ice-cream at reasonable pace – depending on how hot it is outside – and you’ll soon feel more relaxed. 2. Take 30 belly-breaths. This is probably the most efficient way to relax I have found so far. It’s easy, quick and you can do it anywhere. And it works pretty much every time. Here’s what you do: - Sit in a relaxing position with your legs apart. - Put your hands on your stomach. Using your stomach breathe in slowly through your nose. If you are doing it right your stomach will expand and you´ll feel it with your hands. - Breathe out slowly through your nose and do it with some force so you feel your stomach pull slightly inwards towards your spine. - Breathe in and out 30 times. Take deep and slow breaths. - After you have taken 30 breaths and focused on counting them you should not only feel more relaxed and centered. Your body will also be able to continue breathing in this manner without you focusing on it. And that´s it. Continue with your normal day. 3. Find five things you can be grateful for right now. Being grateful and appreciating your life and surroundings is one of the most effective ways to turn a negative emotional state to a more positive one. So find a few things you are grateful for right now. Perhaps it’s the sunny weather, that you feel healthy and energetic today, that you have just eaten a delicious after-noon snack, that the guy/gal that just walked by had a great looking jacket on and that tonight there is a new episode of your favourite TV-show to enjoy. 4. Make a list of the three most important things you have to do today. Then do them, one at a time. Start with most important one. Don’t worry or think about the rest of the stuff you need to do. Procrastinating or just keeping busy to avoid doing the big and truly important tasks creates great amounts of stress. Once you are done with the most important task you not only feel calmer but also more self-confident and the two remaining tasks will become easier to handle. 5. Write everything down. Write down your thoughts, appointments, commitments and shopping lists. Don’t try to keep it in your mind. This only adds stress as you worry about forgetting something and uses a good chunk of your mental RAM for remembering rather than thinking. Writing everything down is great and simple habit to keep your mind clear and focused on more important things than remembering how much milk you need to buy. 6. Declutter your workspace. A clean and organized desk and workspace creates a clean and relaxed mind. Just take 5 minutes right now to clean up. Forming a habit of doing this on a regular basis is an easy way to not only keeping the workspace looking nice and clean but also to improve your mental focus and clarity. 7. Read Steve Pavlina. This one might sound a little odd but when I feel stressed I read one or two of Steve Pavlina´s long pieces of writing. And it calms me down. I don’t really know why, perhaps it comes from focusing for quite a few minutes on a long, lucid and often pretty inspiring article. There is a different pace over at Steve’s blog compared to most of the internet and real-life, I guess.

ON LIFE:
1. With regards to problems, always remember that when it rains, it pours. And sometimes, there can even be hailstorm -- even in the
2. Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Is it worth all the worrying?
3. There are no shortcuts to any place worth going to.
4. No matter where you go, there will always be bad drivers.
5. If someone compliments you, smile and accept it. Take a moment to remember all the people who helped make you worthy of the compliment.
6. Stop "sleeping on it [problems]." If it were a real problem, you
wouldn't be able to sleep anyway.
7. The only permanent thing in life is change. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll be happy.
8. Stop worrying about the "what ifs." Things will happen if they're meant to happen.
9. Sunscreen was invented for a reason.
10. Remember that it takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow.
11. Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and the world suddenly remembers it has to be somewhere else.
12. Beer doesn't have the answers to problems. It only puts worries on hold.
13. You can't make people like you, and you can't please everyone.
14. Tequila is evil. It will always be evil, so don't expect that it will
go easy on you next time.
15. Practice makes perfect, even if sometimes you hit several cars along the way.
16. The opposite of "love" is not "hate," but "not give a damn."
17. Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach -- and flunk those who can.
18. You can cry over spilled milk. Just be sure to clean up afterward.
ON CAREER:
19. If at first you do succeed, try not to act surprised.
20. Always be friendly to the people you meet on your way to the top. You are going to meet them on your way down.
21. To make your dreams come true, you have to wake up first.
23. There are a lot of things taught in school that you think you won't need. And indeed, most of them, you really don't need.
24. The teacher you hate the most gives you the worst grades, doesn't credit you for your efforts, and can't be bought. He goes by the name "Experience."
ON RELATIONSHIPS:
25. Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.
26. There is a big difference between "like" and "love." Learn which is which.
27. Only you can really hear your heart breaking and your real friends are the ones who hear its echo.
28. If you don't have anything nice to say about your neighbor, it's best to shut up, keep things to yourself, and walk away. Why destroy a person's image when you yourself have to work on yours?
29. Sometimes, it's best to keep your feelings to yourself.
30. Cry him/her a river. Then build a bridge and walk over it. You May have to repeat the "procedure" a couple of times before you can stop building bridges.
31. When someone says he/she likes you, he/she just might really mean it.
32. True friends will make fun of what you do but support you all the way. Acquaintances will praise your work, and then not give a damn.
33. It's no use hanging on to a relationship that is only in your head.
Wake up and make it happen.
34. A true friend won't jump off a cliff with you. He'll be at the bottom to catch you.
35. If he can't see what an awesome and amazing person you are, move on... while secretly wishing that one day he will.
ON FAMILY:
36. Parents give their children two things: roots and wings. Children give their parents two things: screaming fits and migraines.
37. Remember that someday, you, too, will be getting screaming fits and migraines. So try to reduce what you give your parents.
38. Always remember that your mom had one foot in the grave to bring you to this world. And your father had to bear with her mood swings for nine months.
39. Family isn't just about being related. It's about actually being there
for each other through thick and thin.
40. If you want to keep something from your family, don't write it down in your diary.
41. The perfect, normal family is the one that is dysfunctional with many skeletons in the closet.
42. If your mother tells you to brush your teeth before going to bed or your teeth will rot, she's telling the truth.
ON ONE'S SELF:
43. It's okay to cry and bawl your eyes out once in a while.
44. Always have some alone time. Watch a movie by yourself, have a drink in a café or go shopping.
45. People have their own little quirks. But unless they involve public nudity and self-mutilation, don't try to change them.
46. You don't have to wait until New Year's Day to make a resolution.
47. Love and respect yourself. If you can't, how will others love and
respect you?
48. There is no such thing as a "perfect" body. If there is, then Barbie dolls would have come in different shapes and sizes.
49. Forgive yourself for torturing yourself.
50. You are an awesome person. Don't change for anyone.

I don't thinks there's anybody in my generation who does not know the e'heads. Even if i did not get to watch the reunion concert last saturday, i have that "eheads fever" that's still going around. I am a big fan but there was something more important that i had to attend to. The video my sisters took in her cellphone is the closest i can get to the real thing. And i will patiently wait for a DVD copy to come out.
During that decade of the 90s:
-Everybody new Toyang and how "they" tried to tell us we were too young.
-Aling Nena's store was well known and her beautiful daughter who was leaving for Canada.
-Shirley and her love life and how she started wearing a dress in campus.
-Isaw, thesis making and pag-iipon ng tansan to make someone feel special.
-Pare Ko even made it to the movies with Claudine and Jao Mapa as the lead actors. (Wonder if they watched the reunion concert... )
-Uwian during weekends and waiting for a bus. And yes, there are clothes for laundry in our bags.
-In a world where everybody hates a happy ending story... (tudududu...tududuuuu)
my list could go on and on. anu naman ang sa inyo? dagdagan niyo pa!

Sept 1 is Baguio day.
I remember joining the parade every year.
Is it still a non-working special holiday for the whole City? I really don't know now.
But i used to look forward to sept 1's during my 5-study-years in baguio for that extra day out of school.
i miss those days, i mean MY Baguio days. as i said. it's good to remember once in a while.

Dear Jonaks,
Do you remember that time in Downhill when we made up a whole new lyrics for UP naming mahal? Melan was cooking a lambchop dinner then and ended up annoyed and irritated. Do you remember that?
I wish i wrote it down. I clearly remember how funny it was that time. Dunno if the words we put together were just ridiculously funny or was it because it was fun making fun of Melan's patience.
Those were good days.
Its good to remember once in a while.
